Aberdeen Western Peripheral Rout - Compensation Update
Following the Public Local Inquiry (PLI) in respect of the AWPR it is anticipated the Reporters’ recommendations will be presented to Scottish Ministers within the next few months and go to the Scottish Parliament for approval by the end of 2009.
All affected landowners have recently received notification from the local AWPR Team that negotiations are about to start with regard to Accommodation Works –work relating to new boundary fences, walls, screening and access and service arrangements.
Land owners or householders whose property may be affected by the proposed route of the AWPR – and who may be entitled to compensation – should act now.
FG Burnett consultant Keith Petrie is an expert in advising on the compensation rights of property owners affected by Compulsory Purchase Orders and has already successfully negotiated a number of compensation payments in relation to the AWPR.
