Aberdeen University Student Successfully Completes Three-Month Placement

Aberdeen University student Kirsty Gordon has successfully completed a 15-week placement with the FGB team. The 20 year old, who is currently studying for an MA in Real Estate, was invited on a placement after her skills were recognised by Director Richard Noble. Richard was part of the judging panel for the Women in Property Awards, of which Kirsty was a finalist.
During her time, Kirsty was welcomed into the Agency team and assisted with marketing properties, viewings and generally experiencing all aspects of the commercial property sector.
She also gained experience in building consultancy, dilapidations and renovations, and valuation.
Richard says, “I had the pleasure of being part of the evaluation process for the Northern Branch of the Women in Property Awards and sat on the interview panel. The standard of entries this year was particularly high and it was during this time that the work of Kirsty Gordon caught my eye. Following further discussions, we offered Kirsty a work placement. She joined us in May and has just completed her time in September.
“She assisted all departments and gained valuable hands-on work experience within the industry. We would like to thank Kirsty for her hard work and wish her well in her final year.”
